Deliverable D 4.1 Technical documentation of the F.E.Q. prototypes

This report explains how the given RCI architecture has been implemented by the F.E.Q. supplier group partners. Implementation is based on a “fat” or “intelligent” client concept, meaning that the OBE can handle all necessary tolling functions autonomously on board. The concept includes an EETS backend where all GSM communication with the OBE is handled centrally. It is then the EETS backend that exchanges data with all connected toll chargers.
